Matilda (1996)

Watched Matilda, the movie today at school library level 4. Matilda is the 2nd children story book i read. Ive always loved it and the movie is even nicer. The story, in case you have no clue about it, revolves around this genius telekinetic little girl who likes to learn, read, unlike the grumpy family she's born into. Her family seems to be the 80s American kind where they watched TV and ate junk food. Matilda is different but instead of crying or joining the somewhat crooked family, she stayed true to herself, fought on and yes, she lived happily ever after with her new found mum, Ms honey.
I strongly recommend this show. To me, a great movie need not employ a famous cast like Brad pitt or Angelina jolie. Neither does it have to spend millions on building a ship that is to be sunk in the end. A great movie educates, inspires, and most importantly touches your heart.
Several things learnt from the movie
- never backstab your family. She might be a bitch, but shes still a family bitch.
- Believe in yourself
- Practice makes perfect
- Visit the library
- No matter how small you think you are, you are most definitely capable of standing up to anything
Don't get so worked up~ Its just me
