STRESS 110%
Tuesday, June 26, 2007

Current mood: stressed
Current physical condition: sick
Current pig out food: ice-cream
Current state: drowsy drowsy drowsy

Therefore, i shall destress "himboticcally"

And so, i pigged out with ice-cream, almond and pecan nut chocolate to be precise. All that work, study and co-curriculum was alright until THAT piano teacher tried to choke me.

ARGHHHH!!! PLEASE. I am sick. I took an M.C. Guess what she said. She actually grumbled about why i'm so weak. I'm like:, HELLO~~!!!! mind your manners!! OK, FYI, i have piano lessons every sunday evening. AND SO, as if she didnt get it, She called again on monday after i didnt reply her sms. PLEASE! for god sake! can you spare a thought for the patient?!!! I couldn't even speak properly after the drowsy medicine and all she cares was whether i could have piano lessons???? like huh???? does that even make sense?? and just now, she called again to ask if i can have piano lessons this thursday. OH MY GOD!! Thats it. i surrender. YOU CAN HAVE MY FINGERS.

What's really going on up there
Saturday, June 23, 2007

And so, finally my mind awakes after so long of mental hibernation. I practically stop thinking about the common "life" issues. Basically, i was sick of it and tried to block them out; but i failed only to realise I was the sole cause of the whole "tired and want to rest" idea. I mean, i'm somewhat or rather happy with a nice family, the best friends you can have in the world and is somewhat financially secure etc. etc. So, silly me decide to be what i am not; SUPERMAN.

Looking back, what i did was exactly like what Eunice said, "juggling too many things on the tray and risk toppling everything". I figured that if life was a balancing beam, one side would be the "things" you have, and the other side would be the "effort, time, blood/sweat" you devote to balance both ends. If the side of "things" gets too much, you have to put in more on the other side. And where do you get those things from? Of course, they are generated from your vitality. All these "effort, time, blood/sweat" drains your life and if you are unaware, these stress will kick start the ageing process before you can say "I Do."

So, i decided to stop some of "hobbies" and concentrate on the ones i excel more in. So i can get more out of the "effort, time, blood/sweat" i invest in.

I don't want to end up toppling all of the wines and martinis on my tray and have nothing to drink when i reach my seat.

So, its been quite some time since i have blogged. But thats because everynight i have something on. So prepare for a FULL blog entry

ON GETTING ON
If its not the multiple course i take, it would be dinner with either friends or family. Leading a full busy life leads to oversleeping.. and on Monday, i decided to take the MRT; I prefer the bus anyday, just don't like the stare stare thing in MRTs. And so, my card was stuck when i try top up.

TYPICAL BAD DAY EVENTS.

So i decided to buy this childhood sweet- bobdog. remember? they look like cigarrettes.

ON WORK
Here's my desk!!

Recently, i go the chance to follow Jenny (nutritionist) and Dennis (fitness trainer) to their one-to-one consultation sessions with the cilents. And seriously, there were alot of liars. LOL.

As you can see from the pic, Jenny is having a headache already.. hahahah

ON LIFE'S LITTLE DISCOVERIES

Then just yesterday, the electromagnetic waves of the earth is somewhat greater than any other days. According to Jenny, it only happens like 2 or 3 days a year. And she further confirms that by making the egg stand on its own!!!! Don't believe go try, you will never be able to make the egg stand on its own without the magnetic waves or u dig a hole to cheat.

ON FOOD

Working at beach road really has a great advantage because the market has everything u possibly imagine, from char kway teow all the way to chocolate fondue. I personally recommend the beef noodle, order number 5 or 6. and the lion ciy wanton mee on second floor.

So today, i decided to make a moodboard on the clothing you must have this year round

If you'd be more observant, you would find that clothing nowadays are soooo thin.. esp. those basics. I suppose not only to increase profits but also to get ready for the desert weather. My jackets are like getting mouldy from being in the cupboard for sooooooooooooooooooooo long. cant even wear it cuz the weather is sooo bloody hot. What you can wear is only t-shirts since i can't wear singlets yet. It getting frustrating. Seriously, the thing to invest now is thin clothings that is fashionbly patterned so they don't look cheap on you. And theres something wrong with the sexay post earlier on. shall repost tml at office.

PRODUCT DESIGN
Tuesday, June 5, 2007

Ideas are really the key. These people who solves world problems with thier little ideas are really fantastic.

Made in Hungary, the Kenguru is a small vehicle that drivers can roll into without leaving their wheelchairs.

Designed by Zsolt Varga, Kenguru is small, stylish and cheerful vehicle whose contours are similar to those of a Smart car. But the resemblance stops there. Made to hold one passenger in a manual wheelchair, the Kenguru doesn't have doors or seats. To get in, the driver opens the extra large back hatch and rolls inside while remaining seated in his wheelchair, which automatically locks into place inside the car. A joystick instead of a steering wheel means that drivers with limited arm mobility can comfortably control the vehicle. (Source: Index.)

Kengurus are electrically powered, have a range of 40-60 km, and reach speeds of 35-40 km/hour, making them best suited to relatively short commutes. Listed price is HUF 2,790,000 (EUR 10,250 / USD 12,920 / GBP 6,980).

The vehicle within a vehicle approach is simple and clever. Offering wheelchair-bound consumers greater freedom and independence, Kenguru should sell well around the world. Time to organize distribution rights for your market!

Hui yee~!!! please make something that make me fly just by attaching it to my head

A DOSE OF REAL LIFE
Monday, June 4, 2007

This author said that as we climb the ladder of success there are many other folks on higher rungs who may try to kick us down. There are also those who have not got on the first rung yet who will try and pull us down. So how do we cope in a modern day world of hungry hounds eager to get their hands on as much money as possible any way they can?

Levy's Five Principals for Prosperity

Principal Number One : Enjoyment
We should understand the world does not owe us a living. We will succeed or fail by the amount of joy we have for the project. The most important ingredients are enthusiasm and commitment for the job in hand. We have to understand that very few things will go in the direction we desire and the more we practice our skills, the luckier we will become. We manufacture our own luck and to recognizing opportunities is the key to success. Every viewpoint, in every business day, has to be explored. Never say no to anything until we have examined every possibility and outcome. Even if we find that it is not what we desire, we leave the door open for future development. If we are only interested in what we can get out of any action of the moment, we are doomed for failure.

Principal Number Two : Giving
A key ingredient in a successful venture is giving rather than taking. In other words give the best and you will receive the best. If you do not have the ability to give the best, keep on trying different approaches until you can give the best. Whatever you give you will get back in abundance. There are those who have achieved money and status by devious means. They may have all the trappings of the luxury lifestyle, but they do not possess the clear mind to enjoy the fruits of their labor. Therefore, they are not a success to themselves. All the stress and strains of cheating will one day manifest into an illness. You can mislead other people but you cannot lie to your immune system. So, it pays big dividends to give others a helping hand up the ladder of success.

Principal Number Three : Overcome Adversity
Enjoy the failures more than the successes. Each lesson learnt, is a lesson gained. Just don't keep making the same mistakes. Negative people are our stepping stones to wealth. The more they tell us it can't be done, the more energy they give us to get the job done successfully. Adversities are sent to test our resolve. Become a good hurdler and learn how to jump over them.

If we require an answer to a difficult problem we need to solve, we ask any questions we need, a few minutes before we go to sleep. The next morning on awakening we might get an idea that solves the issue. Ask the question every night until the matter resolves itself.

Principal Number Four : Debt free
It is far better to learn walk to before we try to run. We must not pile up too much debt. If we cannot afford something then we work a little harder and longer until we have the funds to expand. Being debt free makes for peaceful sleep. Being under pressure to pay bills is no way to live. Our purpose is to enjoy life and our labor must be a labor of love without demands.

Principal Number Five : Enjoy Endurance
Remember the three P's Patients Persistence, Perseverance. If we trust in our ‘True Self' then we cannot fail. As long as we are enjoying our business activities in the same way as we enjoy our leisure, success is assured. If it takes a few years more than we thought to achieve our goal, then so much the better, because we have more time to gain extra experience.... It will allow for more time for you to exhibit to people that you are trustworthy and reliable. Integrity cannot be bought, therefore once you gain credibility, everything else you do eases into place.

We are constantly entering new areas of High-Technology. Business today needs new innovation and leadership to succeed. New dimensions of thought are needed for success. Therefore, it is more important then ever to practise the five principles of prosperity.

You will also need to understand how to overcome and eliminate worry and anxiety. It is essential to find inner peace and harmony to relieve the burdens of stress.

By allowing our minds the freedom of silence that transcends to higher dimensions, we will find infinite possibilities. Our potential for success is only limited by what we think we know. That type of limitation can cause great pressure, and we must learn to be detached from events we cannot control.

It is never too late in life to explore your creative side.

Even when we retire from our occupation, we must never retire from life. The secret to retirement is to keep an active mind. I have a friend aged eighty-seven who still enjoys working as a realtor selling apartments. He tells me it makes him feel like a young pup. There are many hobbies we can enjoy and maybe they will make money? Regular exercise will keep us healthy and it also keeps the sex drive in gear. Aging signifies, life is still a joyride to an active mind.

Are you now ready to accept success?

Just one other point......It is important to note that we will never actual own anything. We are essentially renting space and time, so our success should not be measured by our bank balance. We live in a materialistic world and to become truly prosperous we need to ascertain this is not just measured in monetary terms.

People, So have we Singaporeans been living life the wrong way?
