Masks. Everyone knows about its existence but what exactly are they anyway? The truth is, we all have them. One to put on when you see your boss and another one when you meet that "not so friendly" neighbour sharing the lift. The masks originally serves as a guard to your true identity. Its like a lock that instantly seals you from reality and in turn portrays what you want the world to see you in. But why do we find a need to wear a mask every now and then? Is it because we are not who we really are? Or is it we are frighten? Maybe its just human nature when we feel threatened. What we see is only superficial. Beneath that mask maybe a wicked heart or lonely soul. Don't let that mask have a chance to grow on you. Because it might just never come off as it weighs heavier and heavier on you until the day you collapse.
