So i went to the F1 race on saturday with Amy, Gek, Tim, Huiyee and Chen Lao shi (yes, im still in contact with my sec 4 form teacher). There were like zillions of Ang mohs, other than that zooming cars. The funniest part was the reporters from various newspapers racing in Fiat 500. Im like...... WTH. i really appreciate the fact that im get to go because its such a big hoo ha. Still, i think i really cant relate myself to pointy cars. Overall nice experience lar.. theres always a first time for everything. I think in return, the next fashion festival, i will buy tickets for my friends so we all go together.

They say the environment shapes a person. I didnt buy into that theory until i stepped in tekong. After a week of gruelling training, i fell ill. During these 3 days on medical status i cant help but wonder why the sick people in camp are not treated with any extra care. Then it struck me that im no longer a civilian, i am now a soldier. I feel like as if im sold away.EMO thoughts aside, i actually enjoyed my first 2 weeks, yes, even the medical part because i believe if you are a learner, you learn everywhere.

Everyone has their own path to take. Some walk, some run while some are chauffeured. Although not by choice, most of us were born into the shoes we are in. Some days , it gets so confusing when there are so many road signs and junctions, we don't know where to move forward to. One can say its silly to be afraid of the unknown but precisely its unknown thats why you are afraid. You don't know what's coming up and how to deal with it. All you have to know is to tighten those shoe laces and get ready to run.Don't get so worked up~ Its just me

But this really takes the cake man!!! crazy shit man! LOL.. had my laughs at first but then i thought.... what were they thinking? Daring yes. Cool? hmmmmm.. maybe to adolescents.

Yes, i've decided to do it myself first. It was slightly traumatising but still better than to lose it all at once. Now im alllllll ready, cept for 3 more tanning sessions.. LOL.. 
Oh, and this is what im up to lately. Just a preview, its half done. This piece is just for runway/photography sake but totally wearable as in i will eventually line it and everything. I engaged a photography pro Mr. Graham as introduced by Gekteng.. hopefully can get the shoot done before i go NS. Or after i survive NS.. We'll see......Don't get so worked up~ Its just me

They say you cant want to eat everything you see. First of all, you have only one stomach. Then, some foods are too expensive and out of your budget. Also, some foods can give you stomache/diarrhoea/whatever nots. But the natural instinct for humans when they see nice food is to eat it right? So whats the theory of you cant want to eat everything that looked nice. You must be in the restaurant that serve the food first then you decide whether you should select the dish. Then if theres a chef recommndation star on it then you can order it. This is ridiculous. By the time, you do all that routine, you will be so hungry you find your friend missing. So F*CK it. I say, if you see something that seems delicious, just eat it regardless of the risk of the aftermaths it might cause. Cuz if you dont eat it, you will never know how it taste like and most of the time, we hear people saying that they regret not trying something, very rarely, regret trying something.

I haven really blogged lately and im going to the army soon so get ready for a long one.
I finally got how huiyee did it. Taking pictures of yourself is sooooo fun. My friend Huiyee has 114 photo albums in facebook when i have less than 100 photos. I didnt get why she absolutely love to take photos of herself until yesterday, i set out to create my own photo studio.
I finally got how huiyee did it. Taking pictures of yourself is sooooo fun. My friend Huiyee has 114 photo albums in facebook when i have less than 100 photos. I didnt get why she absolutely love to take photos of herself until yesterday, i set out to create my own photo studio.
I used a black cloth, a bamboo pole, camera, tripod, thick blanket to darken the room while leaving a peep hole to allow concentrated source of light to enter to create that studio effect. If the light is still too harsh, use something thin like tracing paper to diffuse the light alittle. Then do some test shots using fake objects like soft toys. Oh yah, set your camera to manual mode cuz if you use other modes, the camera refuse to shoot cuz its too dark. Set the shutter speed to maximum 2 seconds because it will blur unless you can hold that smile for 5 seconds. Even if you can, the picture turn out spastic anyway.
So heres are the results!! 100% self portrait, no expensive studio rental, no professionals, no assistants, and no expensive complicated photograhpy equipments

ON A SEPARATE NOTE
I realise there isnt much time left. As we grow up by the day, more time spent on the repetitive stuff and less time to explore. Our schedule becomes increasingly packed with more of the same stuff. Like the density of chores increase but the number and type decreases.
So sad! Everyone will be separated in one way of another. Some go overseas and study, some go army, some start work. I guess thats life. The 'adults' always say thats how life goes. and without us knowing, we are the 'adults' already. How am i suppose to tell my nieces and nephew man~! I dont even know the answer myself
