new york and avatar

so New York was not really what all the TV shows were like. No ugly betties, desperate housewives nor gossip girls around. Or maybe i haven explored the place yet. Not much fashion on the strees cuz everyone was more concerned about feeling warm, so much so i skipped the contact lens and went to woodbury with my nerd glasses (not the geek chic kind) to woodbury. Honestly, shopping for others is nice but kinda pressurising, like running errands. Now that im done with all that, i wanna really enjoy myself.
So i watched AVATAR over at some cinema at 34th st called LOEWS. I REALLY REALLY love the movie alot alot. It really pull a whole lot heartstrings of mine. You probably watched it already but i must blog about my thoughts about the movie cuz its kinda satorical, so here goes.
Country A, from Planet Earth wants energy sources from this Country I from another planet for selfish reasons. Apparantly, Country I has this mineral that sells for 20million per kg. Anyway, i love the way James cameron subtly incorporates pressing issues of our planet and his country into his storyline.
From the view of the main character who is a soldier, he joined one side of the war to stop war only to realise that war can never stop war. War creates more hatred, vengeful thoughts and negativity in this world.
There are people who fight just because they have this peversion to destroy stuff while some fight because they are pushed by circumstances. In the world where truth is distorted by media and propaganda is prevalent, who seems to be the good guy? Country A or Country I? Who are we even to comment that the bad guy doesn't have parents, family or friends they cherish. We are all just humans afterall.
The movie touched on environmental issues as a hidden agenda as well. That i wont even bother to comment on since alot of the companies are saving gaia out of financial benefits and reputation.
Well, its 1.20am~~!!! GTG!
Don't get so worked up~ Its just me
