a memorable day

I still recall that morning Huiyee told the clique that the world trade center had collapsed. We were all still in uniform, and all we cared about: copying homework, and O'levels. Then last year, when 3 of t.u.b. went to New York, we visited the damaged site. Construction of a beautiful memorial site was going on; water fountains, marble slabs, almost like ancient roman temple. Some citizens feel that no one should remind and even worse, glorify the pain by spending the tax-payers money to build a huge cemetery.
Bad memories and traumatic experiences, are we suppose to completely forget them and move on, or should we appreciate the lesson learnt and build a memoral space in our hearts?
